Truth is, these clips deliver best when dropped into the non-stop river of lost-mind sludge that each DVD delivers in its 75 minute glory. Rather than purely rely on individual kitschy snippets, TV Carnage often juxtaposes obvious and not-so-obvious bizarro moments with video and audio to create a whole new screwed up identity, it is freeform TV in the most straight up sense. Matlock's dog hallucinates about James Brown's disembodied head, an enraged fan's attack on soap star Michael Damian singing onstage gets dissected and analyzed at incredible length, lots of Stairway To Stardom moments of course.
