To promote their release of the first Feelies album, "Crazy Rhythms," in 1980, Stiff Records issues this flexidisc of an extended medley crafted from excerpts of a few of the album's key tracks. Shortly thereafter the "Stars On 45" phenomenon began. Coincidence, or idea thievery? We think not.

[via Reuters] Considered by some to be the greatest film-maker ever, Ingmar Bergman exorcised a traumatic childhood through cinematic masterpieces that explored sexual anxiety, loneliness and the search for meaning in life.
Bergman died on Monday. He was 89.
