Feature:
I hate distortion pedals with EQ's, you have an EQ on your amp for a reason! Having said that, changing the EQ does radically change the sound. Doesn't improve it though.
Quality:
As with all MXR pedals, it's as solid as a rock, can't fault that.
Value:
Costs a fortune and is not worth it. MXR have done some great stuff but this just isn't for me.
Desirability:
It's black and could do annoying crowd members some damage if you bashed them over the head with it but I really dislike it.
Sound:
Very buzzy scooped metal sound but feedback just kills sound. Not nice! Does not enhance an organic sound as achieved by my 70's Marshall valve amp.
Support:
Didn't keep it long enough to find out
Overall:
This makes a rich, warm guitar tone sound cold, just not worth the money if you've got a good guitar sound which you want to enhance

MXR M151 Doubleshot Distortion Pedal
There was a time when the MXR Distortion+ was the only distortion box that mattered. It was seen on stages worldwide and heard on hundreds of timeless recordings. Building on that proud history, MXR introduces an instant classic, the M-151 Doubleshot Distortion. With two distinct channels, huge output, and incredibly quiet operation, this pedal redefines what a distortion box should be. Dial in blues-approved grind or thick, old-school lead tones on one side. Then, with the touch of a button, call up bottom-heavy modern metal sounds or radically-EQ’ed future fuzz.
