Feature:
Plain Jane, but handsome grain in the mahogany and Grover tuners. Saddle and compensaed Nut (polished) are bone, plastic pegs. Black TusQ pegs would be ideal. Comes in a nice case wit ha good handle. Interior is really nice.
Quality:
Finish could be a bit lighter, but build and details are very good, Chinese workmanship. A sturdy and solid guitar that is fairly light and balances well.
Value:
Easily a '10'. At about 1/2 a grand, it is the best I've seen and I have bought and sold dozens of guitars (literally!).
Desirability:
It looks very good; mahogany all over and solid woods. The action and TONE is what sells it! It is not sexy, but it is handsome and feels and sounds GREAT! Martin wishes!
Sound:
Warm, round and punchy. Excellent sustain in an all solid mahogany guitar...bone nut and saddle! Get the action set a bit lower by a pro luthier to 3/32 and 2/32 on the bass and treble E strings at fret 12.
Support:
Cannot say, but buy from the reputable dealer if possible.
Overall:
'10' easily. Almost unreal value for the $. Great sounding and handsome with bone nut/saddle and Grovers and well built and finished. It's a remarkable guitar for the $.
