Feature:
The pick guard, which is supposed to be the visual marquis of this guitar, wore of almost instantly.
Quality:
Compared to other guitars of the same price range, I would go for a Martin or a Larivee.
Value:
Not worth it.
Desirability:
Keep it.
Sound:
I own a 1967 Hummingbird and can honestly say that the new ones cannot compare. My vintage bird has tones that knock the socks off the new ones. Harmonically the vintage is superior. The new ones are hollow sounding, with less sustain and less bass response, making it sound too bright or tinny. The neck, however, is still very nice.
Ease of Use:
Like I said, it can't compare to the older ones made in Kalamazoo.
Support:
When I asked about the pick guard wearing off so fast, they said that's the way it is.
Overall:
I am not satisfied.

Gibson Historic Collection Hummingbird Acoustic Guitar (with Case)
The Gibson Hummingbird offers an unmatched combination of sound and style. With the broad tone of its square shoulder body and its bold visual statement, the Hummingbird has been one of Gibson’s most recognizable guitars for over 40 years.
