For the $199 price tag, you get the basic hardware. Another $99 to upgrade to PodXT level, etc... You need to hook up an external expression pedal to get the Wah to work.
Sound:
The sound is very average on this product. Popping and click on even the best of setups.
Overall:
The Toneport works well enough, my big complaint would be that after spending $200 on this... You probably need to spend $100 more to get the PodXT pack. Plus another $50 to get the FX Junxie pack. It comes with a Wah, but no pedal. No way to hook up a pedal aside from buying an External Midi Controller and routing that through your PC. (Pedal plug ins on toneport are momentary only.) By the time you've done all that, you're up into the $500 range, and could've gotten Guitar Rig II. Which is a much better product. Only real benefit to this is the Vocal pre's, but that's the weakest part of the package.
