Review of Edirol UA4FX USB Audio Interface with MIDI

Feature:
You get Sonar LE free and some plug ins.. both are v useful.. no real need to buy other recording software. just plug in and play USB style.

Quality:
Not that solid as it's made from plastic. fine for on road use, just take care of it like a new born :)

Value:
good value. free software. does what i need it to.

Desirability:
aethetic wise it's good/cool. great design/layout everything clearly labelled. the only downer is that it's not made out of metal.

Sound:
the best you can get for this price.. excellent features.. pre-amp.. 24/96.. sounds fine to me :)

Ease of Use:
everything is clearly labelled. Instructions are great. more helpful than previous interfaces eg Tascam us122. There's a range of effects built in the edirol.. they all sound good.. u can always tweak the sound in SONAR if your a little unhappy.

Support:
i couldn't get the edirol to record 24 bit in Sonar LE so i contacted both Edirol and Sonar. They both replied to my email 2 days later in a friendly manner helping me solve the problem. no worries at all.

Overall:
couple of years maybe.. i'm sure i will still be using it though.
