Feature:
Lacks some features you would think would be standard for software in 2005. It is NOT a full featured workstation program. If you plan to use the program with hardware or VST's you will be forced to rewire with another program, making a powerful computer mandatory. -No Tempo Automation -No Recording In -No VST Support -No Midi out -No Time Signature -No Mapping of the wav's you load into it (if you load a song you can not fast forward in the wav, the wav must be played from the beggining to end) -Amazing synth features, Effects and sound combining features. Lack of crucial features though is reason's biggest flaw.
Quality:
good quality program.
Value:
For it's price it can not be touched...one of the best programs out.
Desirability:
great program
Sound:
VERY good sound. Especially for synth's, lacks in some acoustic areas but anything can be done if you put the time into making your own sounds. Profesional sound.
Support:
good support i suppose.
Overall:
I've owned reason for about 4 years now. I really love it and have made great music with it. It's lack of what seems to be obvious features is frustrating. But none the less by far one of the best program's i have ever used.
