With 21 century looks and proffesional appeal to the modern recording artist, i can see how it is so popular. Even the ProTools is the main software for many the new look and versatility beats the &%$# out of others.
Value:
It is a great value for what you are getting but be aware you can only use the MI4 usb and only 4 tracks at a time recording. I don't know if you can use a larger # input usb box but it would help a lot.
Sound:
If i could choose any recording software that had as much quality in sound for the price, it would have to be Cubase. even compared to ProTools, the quality of sound is great.
