Feature:
Two way speaker, 100 watts power handling, cheap, sounds good. what more do you want?
Quality:
Dropped one, the glued-on crossover came loose, breaking wiring as it went. A couple of zip ties and a bit of solder later and I'm back in business.
Value:
Where else can you get a set of speakers this nice for 50 or 60 bucks? I want some more just because.
Desirability:
Not sexy, but the sound at this price is great!
Sound:
Amazing for the price! Great imaging, useful to seperate parts from each other when learning a part. Bass seems a bit lacking at first... but after a burn-in period they loosen up a bit. When you play heavy bass through them there is a bit of port huffing, especially with the grilles left on, (a fairly massive amount of air hitting the steel grille). Grilles can be pried off with a sharp narrow tool (ice pick). If Behringer could punch a hole through in front of the port, this design flaw would be taken care of and the drivers would still be protected.
Ease of Use:
Plug and play, except for removing the grilles.
Support:
Behringer has a new immediate-replacement-at-the-dealer policy that rocks.
Overall:
If I win the lotto I'll upgrade my little project studio with pro-level gear. These will do 'till then.
