Computer Music - Mixing Surfaces
Frontier Design Group’s new TranzPort represents a revolutionary way to interact with your Windows or Mac digital audio workstation (DAW). Instead of being stuck in front of your computer to compose, record, and produce music/audio, TranzPort gives you the freedom to control DAW functions from anywhere in your studio.
With its 32 V-Pots and 4 giant virtual scribble strip displays, the Mackie Control C4 can simultaneously access and display up to 32 plug-in parameters without switching banks. The 32 push-button V-Pots are arranged in groups of 8 directly below the 4 55x2 backlit LCD displays, and surrounded by LED rings that display current knob positions. So you can actually see, in plain English, the software functions you are modifying.
The Mackie Control Extender is a channel extension for Mackie Control. Slightly narrower than a Mackie Control, the Expander has all the channel strip features of the Mackie Control š only without the master section. Several Mackie Control Extenders can be used together with a Mackie Control to emulate a large-scale control surface with as many faders and pots as desired.
Ever wish you could control Logic Audio, Pro Tools, Cubase, Digital Performer, SONAR and other major audio software, all from a single, hands-on control surface with real knobs and automated faders? With Mackie Control Universal, you can.
