nice pickups, all the sound controls you need, and you can setup everyting there

my has made in China,i bought it in a store and was perfect, but it toke same time to tune it the way i want(but this is equal for other bass)

i search a lot, read a lot of opinions and all most of them are true. I belive is the best bass for the price.
Desirability:
i have silver one and is beautiful.
Sound:
The sound is good and powerfull,you can take several tunes of it

Great tone and stuff.
Quality:
Like I said it didn't last long with the great sound.
Value:
Eh.. Yamaha stopped making this bass for a reason and apparently it's because it craps out on you.
Desirability:
I guess the sex appeal of a bass is pretty much up to the person buying it. If a bass has sex appeal as it says in the rating questions, you have a bigger problem then purchasing a bass.
Sound:
It sounded ok for a while but then all of a sudden we've got this nasty distorted sounded eminating from it. It sounds like a moose.
Ease of Use:
It's a bass. How hard can it be to use it.
Support:
Haven't dealt with the support yet :/
Overall:
Not all that fulfilled in my quest for a good bass that sounds clean and punchy.
