Feature:
Everything I needed, neck-thru construction and tilt-back headstock, plus a very thin fast neck. WOuld love to see a coil tap for the PUs but no big deal, I can add that later.
Quality:
Excellent construction - reminds me of the multi-thousand dollar boutique basses in neck and body construction. It does, however, need some fretwork. Mine came with a couple of too low or too high frets. I am taking it to a local tech I use to fix it. Not a major thing, but it does require this extra work.
Value:
Super for the money!
Desirability:
Curved body ala Spector and some others makes this a very desirable bass to me.
Sound:
Good solid tone, very consistent. Flexible electronics, quality pickups.
Support:
I don't know.
Overall:
I'll keep this one a while I am sure. I may replace the pickups eventually just for a different sound, but once I have the frets fixed it will be a great player. I would give it a 10 if it were not for the fretwork.

Ibanez SR905 5-String Electric Bass
The most significant Soundgear upgrade for 2004 may be the addition of an entirely new SR905. The SR905 is amazingly affordable but is loaded with must-have features for the pro-player: Bartolini MK1 pickups, the Bartolini MK1 3-Band EQ, Accu-Cast B20 bridge and an arched topped body of figured maple fitted with a 5pc maple/bubinga thru-body neck.
