Accessories - Live Audio Snakes

Unlike the Alesis format, which uses one snake for both ins and outs, Tascam and Fostex digital multitracks employ a 25-pin D-Sub connector, and therefore require 2 snakes; one for the inputs and one for the outputs. Here are the snakes to use for balanced 1/4 phone connections at the console. The DTP803 is a 25-pin D-Sub to 8 balanced 1/4 phone, 3m (9.9 ft.) cable.

Compact design has six mic sends and two multipurpose balanced 1/4 in. sends. It makes an excellent drum snake. The 1/4 in. sends can be used as a headphone out, or for sending line out signals from a drum module. Use it in the studio and send two separate stereo monitor feeds back to the musicians.
