I recently puchased the lake placid blue 18 ft cable. I have barely had it 3 weeks, and the metal tip part that goes into the guitar has already fallen apart. The next I buy cable get a second opinion at a store, and see what they use at the guitar store for when someone tests out a guitar or a distortion pedal. Also it ads a fuzzy sound through my fender amp

I have had this cable two years and it is cutting out like crazy. Meanwhile I've had some proco cables that I have had since I started playing bass, and that's 18 years. I don't keep every reciept for every little thing I buy so the warranty dosn't help me much. Forget fender for cords unless you don't mind missing notes when it cuts out.

PHENOMENAL. Fantastic preamps. I was at first skeptical because this use cheaper JRC integrated circuits, but the noise performance on this unit absolutely blows away the Presonus Digimax, which uses more expensive TI integrated circuits. Great converters too.

I upgraded from a voicemaster It was constructed in the U.K. and it souned absolutely fantastic. I traded it in for a voicemaster Pro which sounds very brittle and not nearly as responsive. It is constructed in P.R.C. (China) and I suspect the electronics are inferior.

I will keep it, but I am already prejudiced aganst it, which effects the creative flow

I upgraded from a voicemaster It was constructed in the U.K. and it souned absolutely fantastic. I traded it in for a voicemaster Pro which sounds very brittle and not nearly as responsive. It is constructed in P.R.C. (China) and I suspect the electronics are inferior.
